Gas Mazda maintenance (SKYACTIV-G, MZR and turbo gas engines)
Most Mazda gas engines follow a routine built around regular oil and filter changes, plus periodic air-filter and spark-plug replacement. Depending on engine and model year, oil service is typically around 12 months, with distance-based guidance varying by application and use. Include cooling-system checks (coolant condition and leaks), accessory-belt inspection, and brake-fluid condition checks as part of each annual service. Turbocharged gas engines also benefit from careful oil-quality control and attention to intake and boost hoses during inspections.
