Returns & Refunds

    Haynes handles returns on a case-by-case basis with the objective of satisfying the customer. We stand behind our products and we want our customers to be satisfied with them.

    If you have an issue with the product you have purchased from us, please inform us in writing at service.na@haynes.com with your order number within 7 days of the receipt of your order.

    If the printed manual product(s) have been delivered to you, the printed manual(s) that were purchased from Haynes.com must be returned in good condition with no writing, stains or damage and shipped to us at your own cost.

    If a refund is issued for a Haynes online/digital product, you will no longer have access to your Haynes online/digital manual.

    You will be issued a full refund of your purchase (minus cost of the original shipping should this apply) within a week of approval. However, Haynes cannot be responsible for delays by your banking institution regarding a refund to your credit card as that is out of our control.

    Any online manual codes purchased at a retailer or other (non-Haynes) online merchant and redeemed on the Haynes site cannot be refunded by us and must be returned to the original place of purchase with your receipt.

    All products sold as 'Print-to-Order' are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have any queries or quality issues, please contact our customer service team at service.na@haynes.com who will be able to advise further.

      How it Works

      1. Apply: Tell us about your vehicle and availability.
      2. Screening: We confirm your model falls within our manual coverage years.
      3. Schedule: Choose a 1–2 day window. We come to you, pay you, our tech will drive your car to our workshop, and return it the same day.
      4. Session: We take maintenance photos, drive <50 miles total only for positioning.
      5. Payment: Receive $250–$500/day (or market rate, whichever is higher) after the session.

      What will you do to my car?

      Maintenance checks and visuals only—no engine or mechanical disassembly. Typical tasks include fluid checks, air filter access, fuse/OBD-II locations, and reference shots.


      How long will you need the vehicle?

      Typically 1–2 days. We coordinate a schedule that works for you.


      How far will you drive it?

      Under 50 miles total for positioning and setup.


      Is it insured?

      Yes—Haynes provides insurance for the rental period. Proof of coverage supplied during scheduling.


      How do I get paid?

      Payment is issued after the session via Paypal, Zelle, or ACH payment and documented in a simple rental agreement.
