Gas engines and hybrid (gas/electric) systems
Hyundai gas engines typically follow a regular pattern of oil and filter changes, plus periodic checks of the air filter, spark plugs, coolant and brake fluid. Across the range, oil service intervals commonly fall between about 7,500 and 30,000 km, or roughly 6 to 24 months, depending on engine and duty cycle. Turbocharged and direct-injection setups can be more sensitive to neglected oil changes, so sticking to the time limit as well as the mileage limit matters. Hybrid versions add high-voltage components and extra cooling circuits, so inspections may include hybrid system checks alongside the normal engine and brake service.
