Hyundai gas (petrol) maintenance
For most Hyundai gas engines, routine servicing focuses on keeping lubrication, filtration and ignition systems in good order to protect the engine and emissions equipment. Oil and filter change intervals vary widely by engine and use, but are typically between about 7,500 and 30,000 km (around 6 to 24 months), so it is worth checking the correct schedule for your exact engine. Also pay attention to air filter condition, spark plug replacement intervals (which can differ a lot between conventional and direct-injection engines), and cooling system checks. If you do frequent short trips, heavy city driving or towing, shorter oil-change intervals are often more appropriate.
