Volkswagen gas engines (TSI/TFSI and similar)
Many Volkswagen gas models use turbocharged direct-injection engines, which makes correct oil quality and change timing especially important. Oil service is commonly specified around 7,500 to 15,000 km (typically about 12 months), depending on the engine and service regime. In addition to oil and filter changes, keep up with intake and cabin air filters and inspect belts, hoses, and coolant for age-related deterioration. If you drive mostly short trips, consider servicing toward the earlier end of the range because fuel dilution and moisture can build up in the oil.
