Opening the bonnet

You will find the bonnet lever here
Find and then release the safety latch and open the bonnet. You should remove the engine bay covers to gain full access
Undo plastic clips from sides covers, push insert down to release
Lift up plugs
Remove left hand side side cover
Now remove the right hand side cover
Undo the two retaining bolts - use a 10 mm socket
Now remove the engine cover and place safely to one side
